With its glossy green and gold foliage, Mr. Goldstrike Aucuba is an excellent shrub for adding color to shady areas. It slowly reaches 4 to 6 feet tall and 4 to 5 feet wide at maturity.

It requires full shade or no more than 4 hours of sunlight. It is evergreen to semi-evergreen in the Wichita area, but it may die back further in some years.
