This attractive perennial is covered in yellow daisy-like flowers with brown centers throughout much of the growing season. It grows in an upright clump with stiff stems and has dark green leaves. It works well as an accent, foundation, or mass planting in low-maintenance areas.
This plant is somewhat drought-tolerant but will perform better with consistent moisture. It prefers full sun but will tolerate some shade. It won Perennial of the Year in 1999.
