Newport Blue Boxwood is grown for its upright stems and attractive blue-green foliage. It will slowly grow to 6 feet tall by 4 feet wide but can be maintained smaller through pruning. Naturally pyramidal, it will grow in full sun to part shade and is adaptable to a wide variety of soils except for wet soils.

This variety also needs protection from our winter winds. It works very well as a hedge, accent, or foundation plant.
