Jack Frost Brunnera works well for shady areas where its silver leaves add brightness. Its leaves have contrasting greenish veins and are heart-shaped. Tiny blue flowers appear in the spring and add extra interest. It works well as a groundcover if mass planted. It also works well in a mixed-shade garden.
This plant performs best in part shade with evenly moist soils. It will tolerate some dryness but may scorch. It does not have any serious pest or disease problems in our area.
