Dwarf Burning Bush
Euonymus alata ‘Compacta’
The Burning Bush is grown for its excellent, consistent fall color and well-behaved habit. It is slow growing and forms a dense mound with age. The leaves turn brilliant red in the fall. It works well as a hedge, backdrop for other plants, or as a specimen. It can be grown in shade to full sun although it will have better fall color in more light. It can tolerate a wide variety of soils except for waterlogged soils and needs consistent moisture in full sun.
