Feelin’ Blue Deodar Cedar is an evergreen that displays excellent blue color all year round. This specimen has long needles and keeps its blue color even in the heat of summer. It is low-growing and generally hugs the ground but occasionally grows more upright. They can be pruned to stay low.
This evergreen will generally reach 4 to 5 feet tall and around 6 feet wide in 10 years and grow about 6 inches outward yearly. It is resistant to most diseases but can occasionally be bothered by spider mites or bagworms. It prefers full sun and is heat and drought-tolerant but will not tolerate wet soils.
It works very well as a specimen plant or a large, showy groundcover.
