This upright perennial has showy daisy-like flowers that are large and pinkish-purple.  The blooms have bronze centers, drooping petals, and appear throughout late spring and summer.  The leaves are dark green during the growing season, and the plant itself is upright.  It works well in a mass planting or as an accent in a perennial area.

This plant performs best in full sun but will tolerate some shade.  It is heat and drought-tolerant and will tolerate poor soils as well.
