This upright perennial has showy daisy-like flowers that are 4 inches wide and magenta colored.  The blooms have bronze centers, stiff petals, and appear throughout summer.  The leaves are dark green during the growing season, and the plant itself is upright.  It works well in a mass planting or as an accent in a perennial area.

This plant performs best in full sun but will tolerate some shade.  It is heat and drought-tolerant and will tolerate poor soils as well.
