This extremely low perennial has bright yellow, daisy-like flowers that bloom in the spring and early summer on stems held above the plant. The leaves are dark green and mounding along the ground. It may rebloom in the fall if deadheaded. It works well as a groundcover or at the front of borders.
It prefers dry soil and will tolerate drought, heat, and rocky soils. It prefers full sun and does not have any serious pest or disease problems.
