Route 66 Coreopsis has unusual daisy-like flowers that are bright yellow with large red eyes. The colors often blend together but are unique to each flower. The leaves are green and airy, giving the overall plant a delicate appearance. It blooms from summer until fall. It works well in mixed borders and at the front of foundation plantings.
This plant prefers dry soil and will tolerate drought, heat, and rocky soils. It prefers full sun and does not have any serious pest or disease problems.
