Sugar Tyme Crabapple is somewhat upright to oval. It has pink buds in the spring that open pure white. It has small red fruit that persists through the fall and adds winter interest. It grows to around 18 feet tall and 15 feet wide. This tree works well as a spring accent, in small front yards, or as a border.
It prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil but will adapt to a variety of soils. It is somewhat drought-tolerant once established.
