Happy returns Daylily is an easy-to-grow perennial that blooms bright yellow in early summer.  Its ruffly yellow blossoms are large and borne well above the foliage.  It has grass-like leaf blades that are full and dark green.  It will rebloom until frost if spent blossoms are removed.

This plant works well in mixed perennial borders, massed, and as a foundation plant.  It is drought tolerant but will perform better if it has some watering in dry periods.  It prefers full sun, although it will grow in part shade and will tolerate a wide variety of soils.  It does not have any serious pest or disease problems.
