This easy-to-grow perennial blooms golden yellow in early summer.  Its ruffly yellow blossoms are large and borne well above the foliage.  It has grass-like leaf blades that are full and dark green.  It is one of the best rebloomers and will bloom until frost if spent blossoms are removed.

This compact plant works well in mixed perennial borders, massed, and as a foundation plant. It is drought tolerant but will perform better if it has some watering in dry periods. It prefers full sun, although it will grow in part shade and will tolerate a wide variety of soils. It does not have any serious pest or disease problems.
