The Allee Lacebark Elm is a vigorous tree very reminiscent of the American elm but is immune to Dutch elm disease. It has dark green foliage, interesting exfoliating bark, and an arching branch structure. The leaves change to yellowish or reddish-purple in fall.
This medium-large tree is excellent for street and yard plantings. It is tolerant of a wide range of conditions and prefers full sun.
