Silver King Euonymus
Euonymus japonica ‘Silver King’
This evergreen shrub is grown for its variegated foliage. Its leaves are dark green edged with cream and hold well through the winter.
It will grow to 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide but can be sheared or punned to the desired shape. It has a very dense structure. It grows very well in sun to part shade and is tolerant of a wide variety of soils and conditions, being very low maintenance. It will not tolerate wet soils, however. It works well as a foundation plant, as an accent, or sheared in a formal garden.
