Elijah Blue Fescue
Festuca cinerea ‘Elijah Blue’
This tiny blue grass has excellent icy-blue coloration that does not fade in the summer heat. It maintains a neat clump that works well for edging or bordering beds of other plants. Tan blooms appear in the summer. This grass works well for massing, is drought tolerant, and adapts to a wide variety of soils except for wet soils. Grasses will perform better if cut back while dormant and if divided every 3 to 4 years.
