The Chinese Fringe Tree is a small to medium tree grown for its clusters of showy white flowers in late spring. The flowers are delicate and look like lace. The leaves are bright green and turn yellow in the fall. The branching habit is upright, and the bark is also exfoliating and attractive.

This tree prefers full sun but can tolerate some light shade.  It prefers moist, acidic soil and needs some watering in a prolonged drought.  It works well as an accent or small yard tree.
