This unique tree is grown for its fantastic display of golden leaves in the fall. The leaves are distinctly fan-shaped, leading to the common name of “Maidenhair Tree.” Autumn Gold is male and will not produce fruit.
It reaches 40 to 50 feet tall and 25 to 30 feet wide at maturity. It will grow best in full sun and is tolerant of a wide variety of soils with little maintenance required. This tree works well as a shade or park tree.
