This medium-tall perennial has a bushy growth habit.  It is grown for its showy yellow blooms that cover the plant in the fall and resemble fireworks.  It has bright green leaves and upright stems that do not need staking.  This plant works well as a foundation plant, fall accent, or in a mixed border.

It prefers full sun, although it will tolerate some shade.  It does best in moist, well-drained soils.  It does not have any serious pest or disease problems.
