Blonde Ambition Grama Grass is a hardy native grass grown for its unusual seedheads. The upright stems rise above the foliage, and the seedheads are blonde and grow sideways like flags. The foliage consists of thin green blades throughout the summer. It stays compact and works well for small gardens, massing, and for foundation plantings.
This grass is low maintenance but needs to be cut back when dormant. It is very drought tolerant and will adapt to a wide variety of soils except for wet soils. It grows best in full sun and does not have any serious pest or disease issues.
