Hameln Grass Dwarf Fountain works well for small spaces. It has arching blades throughout the summer that are grey-green, and the plant forms a full clump. Its blooms are fluffy, have a copper to rose tint, and appear in late summer. It works well in mass plantings, in mixed borders, and as a foundation plant.
This grass is low maintenance but needs to be cut back when dormant. It will tolerate drought and does best in full sun to part shade, but will bloom best in full sun. It does not have any serious pest or disease problems but overwinters better in protected sites.
