Carpinus betulus ‘fastigiata’

This medium sized tree is pyramidal in nature when young and becomes round at maturity.  It grows quickly, has a dense habit, and is excellent for a street tree, accent tree, and for formal landscapes.  It will tolerate heat and drought and has a yellow fall color.
