Francee Hosta is grown for its large green leaves with thin but distinct white margins. The flowers emerge in the summer on long stalks held above the plant and are trumpet-shaped and lavender.
This plant is best used in a shade garden, at the front of a border, or as foundation plantings in sheltered areas. It will have its best color in some partial shade but can grow in more shade. It grows best in moist, evenly drained soils and will perform best if watered during dry spells. This plant is fairly low maintenance overall.
