Annabelle Hydrangea is grown for its large globe-shaped white flowers. Its blooms are up to 8 inches in diameter and appear in the summer and may reappear in fall. It has large, dark green leaves and a rounded habit. It grows to 3 to 5 feet tall and wide.
This shrub will perform best with some sun and afternoon shade in our area. Dappled shade throughout the day is also ideal. It prefers a wide variety of soils and conditions except for dry soils.
This variety works well as a foundation plant, in woodland gardens, or as an accent.
