Endless summer hydrangea produces huge blooms that appear from summer to fall. The blooms are mop-headed or flat depending on the variety, and consist of clusters of flowers that are blue or pink, depending on pH. The leaves are dark green, contrasting well.
This plant works well as a foundation or accent plant, and the flowers work well as cut flowers. It prefers part sun and must have evenly moist soil. For blue flowers, aluminum sulfate must be added to the soil in our area.
