Blue Pacific Juniper
Juniperus conferta ‘Blue Pacific’
This evergreen shrub is low growing to only a foot and spreads to 6 feet wide. It has blue-green needles that somewhat resemble blue spruce. They make an excellent groundcover in front of other shrubs. They prefer full sun, are drought tolerant and can grow in very poor soils except for wet soils. Branches can be trimmed back to keep them from spreading too far.
