Canarti Juniper is an evergreen that is densely pyramidal when young, then opens up and develops long architectural branches with age. It prefers full sun and performs well in any soil but prefers moist, well-drained areas.  It has good winter color, and the small blueberries are ornamental.

It is the most drought-tolerant conifer in Kansas.
