Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper is a very compact evergreen shrub, only growing to 1 foot tall and 3 to 5 feet wide. It has small, scale-like needles that are light green and extremely compact on an interesting branch structure reminiscent of bonsai.
They prefer full sun, are drought tolerant, and can grow in very poor soils except for wet soils. Branches can be trimmed back to keep them from spreading too far.
