Grey Owl Juniper is an evergreen shrub that has interesting silver-blue scale-like needles.  Its branches have an arching structure and are reddish brown, contrasting well with the foliage.

They prefer full sun, are drought tolerant, and can grow in very poor soils except for wet soils.  Branches can be trimmed back to keep them smaller and tidier, or the shrub can be sheared.
