This evergreen is valued for its dense, spreading habit and year-round blue-green foliage. It grows 1.5 to 2 feet tall and can spread 8 to 10 feet wide over time. The slightly upswept branch tips give it an elegant, textured appearance, while the foliage maintains rich color through winter.

Hardy and low-maintenance, this juniper thrives in full sun and adapts to most soil types, except for wet or saturated conditions. Bagworms, scale, and spider mites may occasionally appear, but it has good disease resistance.

New Blue Tam Juniper is ideal as a large-scale groundcover, in rock gardens, Asian-style landscapes, or cascading over walls. It can be trimmed anytime in dry weather.
