Spartan Juniper is a  fast-growing evergreen that maintains its dense columnar habit with minimal pruning.  Its needles also maintain a good color in the winter.

This tree prefers full sun and well-drained soil, but it is tolerant of a wide variety of soils except for waterlogged soil.
