This small grafted tree is very desirable for its blooms that appear twice throughout the year.  It blooms fragrant lilac in early spring then reblooms late summer into fall.  It is a compact, rounded tree that works well as a taller foundation plant or around patios.  It has dark green leaves in summer.

It blooms best in full sun but will tolerate some shade.  It adapts to alkaline soils and needs good air circulation.  It doesn’t have any major pests or diseases.
