The Amur Maple is a small single-stemmed or multi-stemmed tree that makes an excellent accent or privacy screen.  Its summer foliage is dark green and deeply cut.  It has small yellow blooms in the spring but is known for its brilliant red or orange fall color.

It is tolerant of a wide variety of conditions and can take some drought and shade.  It doesn’t have any serious insect or disease problems.
