Paperbark Maple
Acer griseum
Paperbark Maples are grown for their unusual, exfoliating cinnamon brown bark and fall color. Its three pointed leaves generally turn to a bright orange or red in autumn. Its branches are upright and the tree’s shape is oval. This tree grows in sun to part shade but should be watered through a drought. It doesn’t have any serious pest problems and works well as medium yard tree or understory tree.
