Firepower Nandina is a tiny, semi-evergreen shrub that stays very dense and only grows to 1 to 2 feet tall and wide.  It has larger leaves than many nandinas, which begin acquiring some red color through the summer.  The plant grows vigorously and has excellent fall color, turning scarlet-red.  It occasionally keeps its red leaves through the winter.

It grows in full sun to almost full shade, although it will have much better fall color in more sun.  It will tolerate a wide range of soils and performs best with regular watering.  It has no serious pests or diseases.
