This upright evergreen to semi-evergreen shrub bears interesting compound leaves on long stems, growing to 6 feet tall. The leaves are dark green throughout the summer and acquire red tones in the fall. The plant blooms white in the late spring and then has red berries in the fall.
It grows in full sun to almost full shade, although it will have a much better fall color in more sun. It will tolerate a wide range of soils and performs best with regular watering. It has no serious pests or diseases.
