Nectarines are very closely related to peaches but lack the characteristic fuzz on the skin. The Rose Princess nectarine bears large yellow fruit with red and pink overtones.
The flesh is white, sweet, and mild flavored with a freestone pit that removes easily from the flesh. The flowers are pink and showy and bloom in spring.
The fruit ripens in late July. The tree is vigorous and resists diseases.
Nectarines are self-fertile and do not need a pollinator.
