Whiteshield Osage Orange is grown for its ease of care and medium-small size. It is a male cultivar that is completely fruitless and thornless, growing to 35 feet tall and wide. Its dark, oval, glossy leaves endure throughout the summer and change to yellow in the fall.
This tree tolerates wet, drought, hot and windy sites, and adapts to almost every soil type. It works well in a tree row or as a street tree.
