This excellent peach is known for its cold tolerance and late bloom time. It produces medium-red peaches with a yellow undertone. The flesh is very sweet, juicy, and firm, and the pit is freestone, removing from the flesh easily. The flowers are pink and showy and bloom in mid to late spring. The later bloom time reduces the risk of crop loss from frosts. They ripen mid to late August.

They have good resistance to bacterial leaf spot and reliably produce large fruit crops. Peach trees are self-fertile and do not need a pollinator.
