Cleveland pear is a fast-growing tree with a naturally pyramidal shape and is very dense.  It is covered in showy, pungent white flowers in the spring.  The glossy green leaves turn orange, red, or purple in the fall.

The upright habit makes it much less prone to breaking than the Bradford pear.
