Debonaire Pond Cypress are grown for their soft, unusual texture and narrow, upright form. The tree drops its needles in the fall after they turn a rich, orange-rust color. It can reach 50′ feet tall but has a very narrow profile of only 10 to 15 feet.
This tree grows very well on wet sites but adapts to average moisture as well. This tree prefers full sun and works well as a specimen on pond edges, on wet sites, or as a large vertical accent.
