This small shrub is covered in masses of bright scarlet flowers in early spring, reminiscent of cherry blossoms. The foliage on this compact shrub is dark green and glossy in the summer.

This shrub will bloom best in full sun but can tolerate part shade. It is drought-tolerant and adapts to a variety of soils.
