Strawberry Smoothie Rose of Sharon is a large shrub that produces showy blooms summer through fall. Its blossoms are large, double with lots of petals, and are a soft pink with a red center. This plant has an upright vase shape and grows to around 8 to 10 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide.

It prefers full sun to part shade but will bloom best in full sun. It will tolerate a wide variety of soils and some drought but prefers even moisture. This plant works very well as a specimen or accent. It can also form a colorful hedge and be planted around foundations.
