This short perennial only reaches 1 to 2 feet tall.  The iconic blossoms have yellow centers surrounded by white petals and bloom throughout the summer. It is upright, and its stems do not flop over.  The leaves are dark green and serrated.

This plant works well in perennial gardens, at the front of borders, and in small gardens.  It grows well in moist, well-drained soil in full sun but will tolerate some shade.  It will not tolerate wet soils but has no serious pest or disease problems.
