Hoop’s Blue Spruce has one of the brightest blue colors of any evergreen in our area.  It has a cone shape with closely spaced, slightly irregular branches.  It tolerates some pruning.

This tree works well as an accent plant or in a mixed border or screen. It prefers full sun but will tolerate light shade.  It prefers moist, well-drained soils and is somewhat drought tolerant once established but needs consistent water when young.
