Gro-Low Sumac is a low-growing shrub that is excellent for ground cover in difficult areas. It will grow 2 feet tall but spread to 8 feet wide. It has glossy green leaves that are fragrant when crushed. The leaves turn red to orange in the fall. The plant will sometimes have small red berries that persist into the winter as well.
It will tolerate drought and a range of soils except for very wet soils. It does not have any serious pest or disease problems.
