Red Fox Veronica is grown for its deep pink to red spikes of flowers that cover the plant much of the year. It has dark green leaves and an upright habit. Deadheading flowers will encourage them to bloom until frost. It works well in a mixed border or as a foundation plant.
This plant prefers full sun, although it will tolerate light shade. It prefers moist, well-drained soil but is intolerant of waterlogged soil. It should not be allowed to dry out, but with correct soil moisture, it does not have any serious pest or disease problems in our area.
