Burkwood Viburnum
Viburnum X burkwoodii
This shrub large has showy clusters of white flowers with pink overtones in the spring. The blossoms are sweetly fragrant. It has dark, glossy green leaves in the summer and black berries. It is semi-evergreen in the winter time, keeping its leaves if it’s planted in a sheltered location. It is upright and well branched and lends itself to be used as a hedge or accent plant. It prefers full sun but will grow in part shade. This plant will adapt to a wide range of soils and does not have any serious pests or diseases.
