Globe Willows are medium-sized trees with a round, symmetrical canopy and a fast growth rate. It has dark green leaves and needs little pruning to maintain its shape. This tree should not be planted next to houses or sewer lines since its roots are aggressive.
This tree grows best in full sun and moist areas but is drought-tolerant. It will tolerate a wide range of soils. It works well as a medium-yard tree or along ponds and streams.
