Desert Eve Yarrows™ are available in red, yellow, terra cotta, and deep rose varieties. The flowers grow in flat clusters on top of long stems, making them good-cut flowers from June to September. These perennials are grown for their bright-colored blooms and ability to withstand hot, full sun sites.

The foliage of this perennial is very ferny, scented, and medium green in color. It reaches about 1 to 1.5 feet tall and wide but may spread wider in optimal sites. This perennial grows best in full sun but will tolerate light shade, although it may flop in too much shade. It prefers well-drained soils that are lower in fertility and will flop if kept too wet or given too much nitrogen. The whole plant can be cut back after its initial bloom to keep it tidy. They are heat—and drought-tolerant.

Desert Eve Yarrows work well in cottage gardens, rock gardens, and prairie gardens or anywhere where the flat bloom shape can contrast with more standard flowers.
